IBN Charity Golf Day 2016

IBN Charity Golf Day 2016

The IBN Private 3rd Annual Charity Golf Day took place on Friday, 2nd September 2016 at Pelican Waters Golf Club on the Sunshine Coast.

Thank you to those who were able to join us for a fun day of networking, golf and ultimately to raise funds for two causes close to our hearts. This year we once again supported brave Lindsay Carter and his mum, Lanai, in their battle to beat Lindsay’s inoperable brain tumour. More details about Lindsay’s fight here. We are also supported local charity STEPS Group, who help create a brighter future for young people with a disability. More information about Steps Charity here.

The weather was kind to us and the breeze kept (most of) the clouds away. With just a light sprinkle mid-round, the teams put up a fierce battle for first place.

We are so very pleased and proud to announce that together with our amazing sponsors (Carolans First National Real Estate Sunshine Coast, Able Security Group, 92.7 Mixfm, Tides Waterfront Dining, Caloundra Bulk Billing Surgery and Aussie World to name just a few) and players, we were able to raise $10,000 at our 3rd Annual IBN charity golf day! This much needed money will be shared between STEPS Charity and Help Lindsay beat this brain tumour. What a great result!
